I am coming in the black! (well i ordered and paid for my tickets with Club Lotus at least).
It is likely i will bring Tom (he is 4 ) he likes racing cars so why not... bad idea????

I have no idea where we will stay yet, so thats a TBC
and I think we'll drive down from Bath to Pompey, hop on the LDlines to Le Harve for the princely sum of 140! and its pretty quick - Cherbourg, weymoth, caen were all over 200. So I am hoping for some nice roads down to Le mans from Le Harve.(oh and good weather). I guess, drive down Friday and back on Sunday evening...

We've just booked Monday to Saturday, Portsmouth to Cherbourg fast ferry. £212, but its flexible.

In respect to the Brittany bit, if there are any special requests then now is the time to suggest them so we can get them organised.

Also for those who attended in 2008, if anything was partcularly good and you would like to do it again, then also pop that suggestion into the hat.

I will be in a support sized vehicle this year , but htis will mean that I will be able to bring a few spare parts in case they are required. I will also be bringing elanscan cable etc so we can re-create our base timing workshop of 2008 etc

We have reasonable garage space so weather not an issue with that at least!

Really looking forward to lots of and plenty of BBQ

Okay, ferries now booked:-

Plymouth - Roscoff Sun 11/07 (arrive 1500 hrs, so should be at house for about 5 or 6 ish)
Roscoff - Plymouth Sat 17/07 (depart 2300, so get the day in France)

I'll speak to you before hand Iain, and get any directions i might need.

Hi everyone,

I have just decided to go to this myself, a late starter I know. Can anyone tell me if there is space (room) to camp or a gîte, I'm flexible really. I was thinking of the club lotus site, it says they are 20 mins away. I'm not to sure if that sounds a bit dull or not.... and are you all going convoy or just meeting down there , sorry if I'm asking daft questions as I say just noticed it on here and only decided to myself last week...

Ps I'm a light traveller if anyone needs me to haul anything.

I'll be there....
camping at maison blanche......
display parking on the bugatti circuit....

you'll need to speak to club lotus for tickets and diplay parking (basically park with all the other lotus attending)
as for camping at the circuit...erm....try the ACO but as theyre french the organisation is pretty shambolic........hence the reason why stuff starts getting booked up about january

if you dont have any luck let me know and I'll see if I can find the numbers for some of the british groups going/organising and you can see if theyve got any spare places.....

Thanks for that info, how do i get in touch with maison blanche to check camping availabilty or is there as much chance of finding rocking horse poo now! are you all going down together or making your own way there, reason i ask is that if i can get space , having not been there before it may make life easier.... as you say if i have no luck i,ll let you no appreciate your help ta

For those of you staying in Brittany please find directions below and a word attachment of the same.

Directions from AUGAN.

• Upon arrival at Augan you will need to find the church (Can not miss it as it is a big one!). Behind the church is a car park. This will act as our starting point. You will need to be in car park with the church on your left to begin.
• Exit car park turning right.
• At fork in road go left (Monument in centre of fork).
• Follow road for aprox 2 miles. You will go over a bridge (look to your right to see small chateau). Keep following the road passing a right hand junction and passing a farm on both sides of the road (almost as if you are driving through it?). You will go round a bend to the left and then to the right.
• You will come to a crossroads where you need to turn right.
• Take the first road on the left by a couple of recycling bins.
• Follow road round to left and The large house on the left is your destination.
