I'm also planning to be there, again it's just down the road for me! (may not come if it's bad weather, though)

I need to get out and do something, so if I can get the day off I might pop along for a bit of spectating too. When do people usually arrive? Do you need to book anything if you do go on track?

If you want to do the proper full speed track sessions then I believe you have to be booked in advance. Check in time for these is usually before 9am so you should see some familar faces around then.
They do let all Lotuses loose for a few parade laps at lunchtime. We do have a little fun with these but they are not flying laps & crash helmets are not required.

Like Ian says, you dont need to do anything if you just want to do a couple of parade laps at lunchtime. If you want a couple of proper lap sessions then its £95 and officially only open to Club Lotus members. However, if they're not sold out of places (and they haven't been for the last two years) then Alan might be pleased to sell them on the day and you may get away without joining if you're not already a member. Strict stuff is: Lotus cars (or at least lotus drive trains) only; arms and legs fully covered; crash helmets (can be hired); attend a briefing; get a noise check (105 db max I think)); dont be a pratt...... 8) Track users start turning up from about 8ish - see ya there.

As I live there. I am going.
I am also looking forward to the weekend when it doesn't rain!

Japfest had great sun, not sure about the pistonheads hospice this Sunday, but rain can usually be relied upon for the Lotus dates...

See you all there.

As a man who knows where his towel is - you have to own a Lotus, I intend to go so long as it is not monsoon weather again.

I'll be along to this meet but I'm on-call on the 26th so wont be able to track my car which is shame ..

There is another little event at Coombe on the 24th June which could also be a good opportunity to have a meet http://www.bristolmc.org.uk/FSD.htm I'll be booking a track session, all be it behind a pace car for a tenner incl entrance and paddock space..

I notice a mod finally corrected the spelling of Castle Combe in the thread title. Mr K Fiddler by the look of things.
