Nice pic 8) ;)
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

A late response due to lack of computer...

Thanks to Nige for the rides - really enjoyed them - 120mph was defo hit at least once, so he was trying! Never felt nervous, so must have been a good drive! Let me know if any of that camera work came out - I doubt my skills, but the technology may just make up for it.

Good to meet up for the convoy and to see others at the track - a worthwhile trip ;D

Humph

Humph,

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it, you may not have been nervous, but I was ;). Captured the video onto the PC last night and now need to do some editing. There is plenty of useable stuff; in the raw nearly 20 mins, so it will edit to about 15 mins or so, I assume you would like a copy?

Nige

I don't get the mag either. Any chance of a scanned copy post? I take it the numberplate isn't clear?!

I meant to check with the photos I took to see what the solo occupant was wearing...but if it was a black armless waistcoat type thing Stef...I think it's you and the Blip Bitch!

Eh? IIRC I was wearing my denim jacket as you were required to wear long sleeves on track.
Hope it is little Blipi! Will make me even prouder of her!

Just booked myself a package (2 x at least 6 laps = £75.00) for this years event.
Who else is up for it?
Saturday 27th May
CL have confirmed that I can use a non-road Lotus, so all things being equal, this could be the first airing of the Flying Cat.

Monty
That'd be cool, but don't expect too much from the Cat - remember I have nowhere to test drive her (being as she's not road legal) so it'll be very much a suck it and see excercise. That said, Castle Combe is a great wall-to-wall Lotus day!

Have put my application into CL for Castle Combe again this year. Need to try and get the quaife, clutch and flywheel fitted before then and sort out some wheels and tyres!
