Could this be the first Elan meeting without any Lotuses?
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Yes, the fact that those non-Elaners parked away from us devotees was a blessing, discretion much appreciated :)

Nice to see everyone, very educational... we found out that Lotus find many weird and wonderful places to hide the ALDL connector, and nobody from the Bristol or S. Wales are can be bothered to wash their Elans :)

Looking forward to the next meeting, just to see if the garage queens make it out  and whether Geoff, Phil or Myself treat the cars to a bit of soapy water in the meantime! :)

It was good to meet everyone and hopefully everyone got back safely.
Sorry Phil, I forgot to fix you glovebox (don't forget 9929).
I'll get some build instructions put together for you over the holiday Ailwyn.

Are you jealous of my swimming pool upgrade??? :)

Phil does seem to know what he's talking about.... maybe I can get him to fit my A-post seals and re-align the roof :smt115

I'll clean my car next time, but I don't want to show anyone up! Maybe I'll have red rum up and running!?

Good to see you all, and thank you for the help with the EPROM id!

Next job - B Post caps! :D

Yes please!

P.S. - by the time we get round to another one I hope to have mine (Angies!!!!) going aswell.

But given that these meetings are about every 2 years, that shouldn't be too much of a time constraint :D
