Be interested to know the price. I looked at the site from the link you posted, the stickers are quite fun but they are rather on the large side and I'm not convinced I want to put stickers (which may prove difficult to remove later) on my car.

You must be a mind-reader! Originally I was planning to got to Le Mans in the black car, but it won't be ready. Therefore, I'll be in the blue car which has a very stone-chipped front - so I was thinking about stickers etc - don't really care if it shags the paintwork - cos its shagged anyway and the car will probably be resprayed unless it becomes a track/hill-climb car

The stock Gulf orange would look pretty good - but if you are getting some bespoke ones done - how much will they be? If they're overly expensive I'll just take some stock ones.

Allegedly the stickers are easy to remove.
Cost of Gulf would be approx £9 plus pnp to your home.

Does anyone have a jpeg of black and white cat that they could email me so I can forward to Dan.

Any pref for Gulf. Maybe the 3rd one on the list, keep 24 and replace heures du man with cat or 2nd on list, replace 2007 circuit outline with larger cat.

3 weeks to go so need to get this sorted asap.

I have ordered 24 for my doors, drivers name, co-drivers name, and the large circuit outline which will go on my bonnet.

Nige, for removal, heat up with heat gun/hairdryer and peel off. The longer they are on the harder they are too remove. A couple of weeks should be easy, I hope.

Chris, the logo ?

Jim, if your taking a tatty blue machine worth the risk for Gulf Orange ?

Sorry I'm being a bit of a party pooper on this one but I have a bit of an aversion to the sticker thing (apart from concern over paintwork). My showercape suckers have successfully lifted the laquer on Norma and made the leprosy worse so I'm only mildly paranoid :smt101

weather for France looking hot 30c and some thunder next week, exact same as last year then, though I will be in a prpoer tent and not a 9.99 tesco so hopefully wont get flooded again.

Thanks for the link - I'd forgotten you had suffered in 2005 prior to my arrival (with the sunny weather)

Forecast for Rouen (the nearest city I could find

) has rain on Monday night, otherwise not too bad. Temperatures looking good.

I'll bring a mac anyway ...

On the link go to world weather and then type Le Mans into the 'your local forecast' box on the top left. That brings up todays (next 24 hour) forecast. But if you go to the forecast header on the top left a drop down appears from which you can select the 15 day forecast.

Bollocks to weather forecasts. I watched the local 5-day forecast before Castle Combe and it was different every day, everything from sun to rain.

But you have got Jim with you, so if it's forecasting rain, it probably will. Better not forget your cap Chris. :lol:
