Really? £10 for the campsite isn't expensive - toilets and running water surely definitely worth it?
The Friday ticket is £10, what was it last year?

I'm sure £5 for a CAMRA member's ticket for the festival itself is a reduction on last year's price.
As for the camping, the grass was uncut last year & September's dew meant that we all got our feet & ankles soaked when walking anywhere from our tent. IF the £10 per pitch means an improvement in conditions then I would not mind.

I am concerned that the festival this year is a few days later than usual. I always felt that its usual time was about the latest you could go camping before the temperature drops too far.

It is a shame that for a Friday it would cost £10 each just for entry to an evenings drinking. Seems a lot considering drinks are full price inside! Two people = Fuel £50 ish, entry for 2 nights £28 and camping £20 before you even get to beer money! That based against cosy home and beer fest within 10min walking distance.

Not saying never again to Chappel but circumstances this year are not playing game, so much on currently and since it clashes with my local beer fest (of which the brewery are looking to make a honey brew from my honey! ) it makes sense to stay local this year. Blipi also needs MOT, service and tax disc :/ May not be ready in time.

Had even sorted fancy dress out for Chappel!
