Confirming...

I shall be meeting at the Nags Head J28 off the m25 (CM14 5ND) FOR 8am on Saturday.

Will pm my number to a few of you just in case it is needed!

Packed my tent already after Silverstone's games...

And given little Blipi a polish! She was getting real pink again and last year's fest at Snetterton was embarrasing!

See you all soon!

Oh, in addition. This time I won't be bringing the fire pit.

May have to break the shorts out which means the legs coming out :!: I apologise to everyone for frightening the children and anyone else because
they don't come out very often. :-D

For those that were at Brands today your car is here, hopefully, oh, except Paul who put his car in the shade and not with the other LEC
members! Just click on the picture and hopefully it will take you to the movie.

Well...

Home safe.

What GLORIOUS weather we had! 8)

Sad to report though, I was the only Elan in the village... well the Campsite anyway. All others had wimped out! Disgraceful. Anyway, I didn't let Team LEC down. Drank hard, partied hard with the band, created big fire causing the fire police to tell us off, and also got moaned at by other campers close to 2am to shut up!

Met some fab people. Ended the eve with the Pro Alloy lot. As logs ran low, one went off in the van and came back with a tree on the roof! That soon got burnt so it took a second to quench the pyromaniac needs. The remainder of said tree being propped back up the next day where it came from, to confused faces! To any tree huggers out there, may I re-assure you these trees were already dead ;-)

Anyhow, camera charging up again to download snaps. Will select and post a few.

Great to meet Tonybassplayer and Deb - got some snaps to swop, especially of the track blip :D And of course fab to meet all you other fellow LECers. Even though we kinda dispersed swiftly!

Hi Stef,
Didn't get to meet you, but waved to you when you were behind me waiting to exit the circuit after the "parade" lap.
Blippi looking good after the spit and polish. Mine was the one with the round rear lights which you may have seen a lot of as I seemed to spend more time braking than excelerating

Ah Hi Jimbo! Yeah, you did 'get in my way' on the track a lot ;-) Like we would all drive sensibly eh?! Hee hee!

Will have to make a better point to meet and greet another time. I scooted back off to the campsite after the track fun.

Hpe you had a great time there!

Anyone know of those Elan Tonnau covers? Not seen them before. The grey and white car had them, must be together?

Yes and no, I spoke to one of the owners and his was the production version (much better) and the other was the proto-type.
I believe they cost £350, but dont hold me to that. not a bad price really, but a shame that the door has to be drilled to take the pop fastners.

Thought there must of been popper fasteners n the door!

Which was the prototype?

Good idea but not something I'm likely to use personally. Unless you can unzip just the driver side to drive in the rain?! Old Skool stylee 8)

Not on LEC then?! :?

The cover has a zip in the middle so you can unzip just the drivers side and leave the other half in place.
