Just got the Sh4rk after a few weeks at the hands of Greg doing some wierd tuning tests of which I didnt want to know about. reason for that is that due to extremely heavy work schedule I have absolutely zero free time and cant afford to get excited with the car and been mind drifted away.
The car feels fantastic, faster and more explosive acceleration than ever, all electrical problems were solved once and for all since I replaced every single wiring cable with new ones. Now I have a Huge Grim allday long (ppl wonder if I got a new girlfriend) and I am praying to be able to join you at this dream Trip. The chances are very thin but I hope I ll manage and I still wont know till next sunday.

Anyone taking the required first aid kit, warning triangle, headlight stickers, spare bulbs etc etc etc, or would we get away with just a GB sticker?

Had a go on Nige's pc nurburgring cct on sunday, made me feel quite ill. crashed about ten times, spun 3 times and nearly rolled it 
i will be taking triangle, FA kit, spare bulbs, proof of purchase, insurance cert - have i forgotten any other of the parafanalia? i take it that the GB on my number plate will do. Onh what about those things that make your lights point in the right direction??

I've got the triangle...
Will take a cople of bulbs as I think I have some spare and thinks a GB sticker is given by the ferry people (?) but not sorted yellow headlight thingies.

When I was there last year, all I actually needed was the GB. It can be on a sticker or part of the number plate. But as said, I'm not putting one on unless forced to.
Take some headlight beambenders and fit them if we do alot of night driving. Haven't ever put yellows on.
You are meant to carry a triangle, but I haven't and I've never had to show one. I'll take mine if you wish, and we'll at least have one if we need it.
You are also meant to have a first aid kit, but same as triangle.
They are only for breakdowns and accidents.
Don't know about France & Belgium (i travel thru them as fast as possible), but the Germans are usually fairly reasonable, and if we're not stupid or rude we should be fine....
Just remember that the AutoBahn isn't automatically unrestricted speeds. Pay attention to the speed limits, Its unrestricted in places but not all over.

GB STICKERS - if you have anumber plate with the Euro symbol you dont need a GB sticker. May be worth fitting a new euro plate if you dont want to stick a tacky sticker on yer bum.

There should be cash machines. Thier banks are not quite the same as ours, though. They tend to be smaller local banks, not necessarily national. Alot won't give you cash by going into them unless you have an account - although you may be able to get cash from a machine. Some do, some don't. The petrol garages/shops/pubs usually take cards OK.
I don't know what the plans are. Are we going sight seeing/shopping/to the local citys at all? Are we looking at being on the 'ring on both Sat & Sun?
If we are 'ringing it on only one day, then I'd suggest Sunday. Germany has a tendancy to close on Sunday, so most shops etc will probably be shut. So shopping/sight seeing,etc is best done on Friday/Saturday.
I'll be taking some cash (couple hundred euros) for the trip and sundries, but will be looking for cash machines/cards for the bulk of it.
Stevo won't need much cash though. There we be plenty of trees to keep him (and the Feuerwehr) happy
