Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Good news, D has managed to borrow a transit van over the cycle ride weekend. This means no hassle with trains and none of the getting to and from stations. Hope this manages to persuade you Jen and LotusNick!!!

Well, I had a really great time yesterday!

Many thanks to Chris and Deirdre for organising this and taking care of the logistics - especially Deirdre for organising and driving the van under trying circumstances! Thanks to C & D, too, for their hospitality.

Shame about the weather; but it did make us stay in the pub for longer than planned :) and the 'craic' was good!

The Indian meal was excellent - a real treat - and made up in lots of ways for the absence of a BBQ.

Once again thanks to Mark, Chris, Paul and Nick for a great day out!

Glad you enjoyed it, will plan better for the weathr next time, should be ok with february perhaps!

Good curry but i was awake most of the night with indigestion. Can't eat that late anymore.

Perhaps we could do the Bristol/Bath one next time.

Well done to you guys, we got down in a very quick time, had the weather been a little more clement we could have taken a more leisurely pace.

Thanks to all for a brilliant time, especially Chris for organising and Deirdre for the lift back!

Great ride - I'll definitely be riding the South Downs Way again with the whole family.
Regards

Mark/.
