I'm looking forward to this weekend although like a muppet I didn't send the form in again like last year :censored: . Hopefully I can do the business on the day and get everything sorted. :-D

In my defence I did have a rather large distraction that happened between then and now. :-D

Fantastic Run.. We got the weather and I counted 6 Elans plus one Silver one going the opposite way on the A515!

Can't beleive I forget my camera. Hopefully one of you guys will post some of the photos you took.

Cheers

That was a really great day out. Lovely weather, fantastic scenery, excellent company and motoring along in formation with five other Elans. It doesn't come much better. The silver Elan, that Gary saw, acknowledged my wave and Neil's headlights.
Remembered my camera :) forgot to check it's batteries. Dohhhh !! :bonk: So thanks Martin for the photos.

Checked my navigator's route notes afterwards and found five pages, full of the same instruction, "Follow that Elan in front" !!!

Thanks again to all , you know who you are. Thanks must also go to the organisers for all their hard work.

The chap driving the silver one's eyes were on stalks by the time he got to us at the back :)

The route taken is available various ways though the numpty with the GPS logger (me) forget to switch it on until we were NE of Buxton:
Google Earth file is Here
For those without Google Earth then Google Maps will work if you copy & paste: http://www.saska.co.uk/2009serp_run/2009sr5.kmz into the Search Maps box.
I only took a few photos, Roz has more and a couple of videos (one is the Cat & Fiddle at the end) but she is on hols in Yorkshire until next weekend.
