Hi All,

We have a small amount of undercover parking space available at Malvern in the main hall.

Although there is much less than we used to have at Stoneleigh, I'd like to invite LEC members to take advantage of what is available.

We'll be filling it up on a first come / first served basis from around 08.00. As this is our first time in this hall it's difficult to predict exactly how many cars we'll be able to accommodate but we'll do our best to get as many cars as possible in.

Please bear in mind there will be many other Lotus' also competing for space and unfortunately not everybody is going to fit inside. Therefore I'd be very grateful if you'd please listen to the marshals, follow their instructions, be patient and stay calm if you're one of the unlucky ones.

See you there!

Alan,

Thanks for the above post and welcome to LEC and our little bit of Lotus Land!

I fully appreciate the 'lets see how this works' approach to the new venue, I for one am simply pleased the event is happening. Whilst Stoneleigh as a location was lacking the late in the year opportunity for a get together was the best and only reason for an event.

I've booked an autojumble space inside the Hall with Sam so we will have a signposted presence inside.

LEC'ers if you want to be indoors it's clear, be there early, if your not don't fret and we'll see you inside! I'll have a look at rendevous points and convoy options over this weekend and post.

I make that 23 or so Elans.

I can work out which direction many are coming from but not all, question is is an RV at Strensham services (M5/M50 junction) and a convoy in what people want to do? Looking at the list it seems that the northbound services seem the better option for most but you will know where you are coming from better than me. It may be that the southbound services offer better access to the local roads that give access of the motorway to the sale, local knowledge appreciated here. The show opens to the Public at 0930 and limited indoor parking is available on a first come first served basis. That suggests an RV from 0845 and a departure from the RV at 0915.
