At this stage, I'm riding solo, so won't be "+1" (Angie is working :( )
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Hi Mark. Sorry, I can't go this year :( A bit too far, what with other commitments that weekend.

Any further movement on the Scotland trip that you mentioned last year? Daniel, son & heir :-) , keeps asking me about that as well!

Enjoy the weekend and all the best to you and Kay.

OK - I have just confimed final numbers with the Marlbank Inn http://www.marlbankinn.co.uk so the list is effectively closed. I have said that there will be 20 of us +/- 2 so that allows a bit of leeway. Time booked for the pub meal is 20:00 but obviously the campers and B and B'ers will be propping up the bar well before that time  I would suggest that everyone else making their way to the Marlbank Inn by whatever means, meets in the bar for 19:30. I hope that's OK for everyone :?: :?: ;-) ;-)

I'd squeezed you in anyway Archie - not sure about Alan and Sarah though - I'm sure the pub can stick on another table and a couple of chairs though 8) You'll probably be used to this sort of thing :?: ;-)

Hot off the press - a reply from the owner of the Marlbank Inn. I was only banking on about a dozen diners until G UK added the rest so I'm afraid we will have to be patient :!:

Hi Mark

Thank you for your emails. The Bank House Hotel is a long way away from us (not sure about the 'Curry House' Hotel?)

I confirm your tent bookings as outlined. If the ground is dry, the cars can be parked with the tents if required.

With regard to dinner on Saturday, it will not be possible to feed 20 at exactly the same time and it would be advisable for your group to split into tables up to 8 persons from 7.30pm onwards - we'll just keep cooking until everybody's fed!

Kind regards
Debra Pugh
