What a brilliant turn out, considering the very very wet weather! The guys at Lotus Silverstone were most accommodating and finally got my first drive in a supercharged Exige ... big smiles! Was nice to see the new franchise at Silverstone, hopefully we can build on this for future events. I will post the timings from the laps as soon as I get them, and in true Top Gear style they will all be awarded with a wet lap timing lol!

Sorry for the lack of photos but here are some good uns: Click here for photos

You weren't, Tom, I seized that 'honour'.

Though I achieved that without scattering cones to the four winds, unlike some......

I'm blaming the damp track, it made me slide into all those cones :-D

I'm blaming the fact that I'm a fat bas.tard and could hardly crawl in and out of the Exige....

and that I was keeping my powder dry for my Evora test drive - which was completely awesome.

Excellent, they let you out in it then? I wish I'd stuck around now as I wanted a go in that. :(

Oh dear. I could have been in with a chance of winning if I didn't clip the two cones, ah well it was so much fun!
