Mrs P may not now be going........

..... but there may be a special guest appearance by a monkey
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

I hope you're not suggesting that Angie's function was to cook your food!......

.... BBQ will be there (brink your own chair, or perch on the grass)

If last year is anything to go by, an umbrella will be better than a gazebo.

I only suggest what I say ;) I don't remember anyone cooking any food for me at CC, other than the crazy shouty woman in the Cafe' :?
The Gazebos were best last year, I found myself huddled under the Excel owners club one during the deluge thinking I may invest in one, of course it should be a Lotus colour :-D .

Nige is around and about - he was at the H+C this month. His access to the interweb is somewhat restricted and AFAIK he won't be doing Castle Combe or Donington. His S2 is back on the road and the NA is still doing sterling service as his daily driver. He'll be at Le Mans as per usual...

Bye for now

I think I'll just change the title to reflect the fact that this event is, in fact, a car-boot sale of miscellaneous parts, with a few odd people driving round a circle of tarmac, disturbing the peace and quiet of the BBQ.

If only everyone's opinion was as helpful as Pinkys. :poke:

PS
It's also worth knowing that in the US Oil can be sold as synthetic when it really isn't. Mobil 1 is but other brands were allowed to advertise as synthetic because their oil was deemed as good by some very silly judges. :? Go figure!

I'll be kitted up too, but I'm afraid I won't have the ElanScan+GPS logger ready in time. I also aim to complete the hairiest parade lap this year.
