Shaun you'll have to leave that farmers field one day and make your way up North! Leave the combine harvester and jump in the Elan get on the A1 and nip across the M62, there you will find some good beer and bbq's! (also slightly less incestuous, only slightly mind....)

There's a cafe on site, but it will be very busy. Much better to take a disposable BBQ or several. It's not that far to supermarkets in Attleborough or Thetford.

Terry, apologies!!! I never got that DVD posted back to you did I? I actually found the disc with the postage stamp last week when I was clearing out my office for decorating. I'll get the disc burnt for you and also copies for Iain, GUK and Nick if you want them??? It's a shame the LEC calendar never happened as there were some fantastic pics.

Lansledj, The food in the cafe is really worth the wait, the queues are big, but for a reason! :D Don't get a burger from one of the burger stands, get in the queue and talk "all thing Lotus" with the person next to you, the time will slide away :burnout: (plus you're supporting the track that way too instead of some greasy quick-buck burger boy!)

As far as breakfast and evening meals are concerned, disposable BBQ's are the weapon of choice, but this year I'm bringing a camping stove (anyone free to use it to save some space in their boot) and if we can get MissElan drunk, then she won't mind us using her gas BBQ (which is supposedly for vegetarian BBQ :banghead:)

Things I am bringing (so you might not have to...)
Camping Stove
Frying Pan
Kettle
Water
Tea Bags
Sugar
Milk
Vodka
Red Bull

When are people arriving? I got there first last year and saved a space for the Elans, I can do so again if you wish??? What time are people planning to arrive (write next to your name on the list?).

I am now off to register for the World Record Attempt....

Shaun, all things good comes to those who wait. Look forward to seeing the other pictures and meeting back up with yourself, Graham and Ian. Shame about Nick not being able to make it.

Righty! Me and battered Blipi are booked in for the weekend.

Not sure if I'll make Friday camping, we will see! I'll put down for Friday anyway.

I've also emaild Burt, who's details were provided for camping queries, to try and put us all together as pitches are allocated. Maybe you could all make yourselves known to him too so it can hopefully be arranged. I'll still try to get some mates coming with me, no Lotus owners but maybe some interest.

They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Burt has replied and I have forwarded him our camper's list so far. He will try to reserve a spot for us to all be together.

I'll be bringing a small single burner and whisky, naturally. Are we planning a joint barby or stuff like that? I also have a fire pit which should allow us to have a safe open fire. Can't BBQ on it though sadly!

Last year was meant to be allocated as well but if I remember correctly Me and Shaun were quite early and managed to secure an area for a handful of Elans, the LEF crowd did likewise as well if I remember rightly. There should be plenty of room on Friday to commandeer an Elan zone.

One thing the LEF guys had over us was a Gazebo up against the fence with several beach towels tied up as wind breaks and a large BBQ/firepit.

We had Spuds Bondage Elan as a windbreak and a Disposable BBQ

Update from Burt

He has asked we go onto SELOC Events and keep attendance record:

for the 'events table' - sign into www.seloc.org once registered, (its free) and go to: http://forums.seloc.org/showevent.php?eid=2893 and fill in your numbers
by doing that - i can keep an eye on tent numbers etc.,

Can someone who is registered do this so he can make sure enough pitches are available for us to keep together?

Ta!
