The SELOC crew are a good laugh and have really helped over the years to build the show experience.

Still not really expensive IMO either.

Happy to look at 2016 alternatives as long as it involves camping over and a good crowd!

Looking forward the the LEC area again as we have a super bunch of folk meeting up and providing a needed M100 Elan presence. In all the event is well worth going to!

For the SELOC ticket holders, can you please update on their website under Events if attending the Fri Director's BBQ and any other bits (eg, Lotus, numbers etc)

The Fri BBQ will have rolls, salad, BBQ's, sauces and usually donuts provided so useful for them to understand numbers

Just emailed Bibs for some more information as I don't think I received a reply to my last email - no matter as I don't think it is urgent yet.

Guys - help me please. One of the requests from the organisers is that we put a bit of 'show effort' into the event and not just treat the stand as a car park. I've done this before (previously running the Astra Mk2 Owners Club) and at that time we had a number of banners and other promotional materials that we used to give the club stand a bit of identity. Does anything like this exist for LEC? I'm thinking of flags / banners etc.

I like to camp at Brands, but then it is nearly always free - Bring some beer and make your own entertainment. Looks like someone has decided they need to charge 24 quid for the unofficial camping inside the circuit and call it "Quiet Camping" There is always "Free" camping in the official Campsite the other side of the fence and you get to use the same facilities - I shall be gate crashing the quiet camping, sleeping in the hedge, or going home for the night, but I'm sure as hell not paying £24 - That's the beer money.... The cheek its only a Lotus weekend not the bloody superbikes!

Thanks for following-up on this.

One of the really nice things about this meeting is that it is a turn-up and have a chat, do your own thing type of event. ie it is not very organised (sorry Geoff) rather it is not over organised. Those that want a bit more organised sign up with Seloc and have a ball. A collection of old cars might look like a car park; surrounded by flags will look like a used car lot. Suggest you respond to the organisers that "Car park" works quite well at the Revival and such like.

Such things DO exist - but I'm unsure where they are..... When Donington/Stoneleigh were big events, and LEC had a big presence, different items were collected and groped to make a bit of a feature (display boards, banner etc).

Nothing too garish, and certainly not a 'used car lot' effect - but a definate corporate identity.

Nige used to keep it all together, but I believe that Jim (Muley) may be the current keeper-of-the-tat!

(Oh, and it was designed to fit into an Elan)

I'm joining a Lotus Cup Europe racing team, so I will have paddock parking, but I would certainly like to park my S2 on LEC area.

No problem. I believe you can get tickets on the gate but you will need the LEC stand pass to get beyond the car park and we'd love to have you on the stand.
