Going to try and get to the next meeting in May.
Should also be going to Castle Combe, haven't decided if I will be a spectator or active participant yet...!!

Hi all, do you guys meet regulary on the 1st tuesday of the month, its just that i am about an hour away, i wouldnt mind meeting you guys. but your meet clashes with my usual meet.

That said... the whole of april is out for me due to studying.....

This thread was originally about the Club Lotus meet on the first Tuesday of the month at the Compass Inn, just off the M4.. Jct.18ish (?)

So I might try again for May!!

Dan is right, the Compass is just off J18 of M4. It's a long time since I was in there (on company expenses) and meals were certainly on the pricey side. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone has made it to the Club Lotus do yet.

I'd be interested in meeting up before Castle Combe, even if it's not at the Compass. I've had my Elan for less than a month so it doesn't matter if its raining or snowing, I'll be there with the hood down!

well i would be interested in a meet, is it convenient for anyone over bank holiday, or if not can someone suggest a date time etc. the only days i am not free are from sat 29th april- wed 3rd may, have an all expenses trip to blackpool..

Does anyone know how many of us there are around Bristol and how many are interested in meeting up? From the members list, it looks like we are spread pretty thin.

I've managed to book my Elan in for some paintwork and a new exhaust on Tuesday and Wednesday so I will have to give this one a miss. I plan to pop along to Castle Combe though - did try a rather late booking for the track but apparently it's over subscribed and there is a very long waiting list.
