Costas - just done the Swiss France route back from skiing. Not sure which way out of Switzerland you are coming, but we went Basel, Strasbourg, Metz, Reims, Calais (all autoroute) - need about 30EUR for tolls.

You have my mobile if you need assistance. In SE London and heading up on Friday afternoon - know Kent well.

We are onboard the Cruise Ferry to Italy which by the way is like a 5star hotel on sea. Expected arrival at Ancona Italy on Wednsday 11.00am. Will head north to Switzerland and will probably follow Nick's route to Callais.
Hopefully we wont encounter any snowy conditions, and if everything goes well we will be crossing the chanell to Dover on Thursday afternoon. Depending on our stamina we will arrive at Donington late on Thursday or we are gonna spend the night at Dover and arrive at Donington on Friday noon.

I will check the forum tomorrow morning for any possible meet-ups on our way with other LEC members.

See yall at Dony

Costas,

Hopefully there will already be people either at Donington setting up the stand, or at your hotel when you arrive. However, if you get here and can't find anyone, you are welcome to get in contact with me as I live in the area. You can either PM me or find my mobile telephone number in the Melbourne Arms Curry thread here

Thx, we will contact when we arrive.

Now, its my first time on such a big Cruiser ship and I found myself stunned on various occasions. Funny part came up when I had to go at my car to pick my credit card (those onboard cazinos are ruthless!) and I was escorted by a crew member. The Sh4rk was parked at a deck with a capacity for at least 100 cars, all alone!!! I asked where were the rest of the cars was parked and the response was "upper deck, but we have yours here because its a special car"!!!. How about that fellow Elaners? :)

Seems like a dream but it is true!!! We just arrived at Holiday Inn Express Hotel at Doningon area. Since yeserday noon that we arrived at Ancona-Italy we travelled through Italy-Switzerland-France-Great Briain and covered a distance of 2050km driven all by myself!!! We are so tired, I hardly keep my eyes open.

Tommorow we will have breakfast (if we wake up :) ) and then we ll try to find out how to help with the LEC stand

Costas
