For anyone who may be interested in a few beers on the Saturday, Algirdas and I have booked rooms in the Macdonald DeMontfort Hotel in Kenilworth.
I've booked my room through LateRooms.com @ £55 for a double.

From fine Kretteringshire I will be travelling!

So, have we selected a venue for the Saturday night meal/drink?
It may affect my choice of lodging ...
See here for a list;

Dear Jim, Stef and Ailwyn:
Jim-Sarah (Ailwyn's better half) has suggested a place called Simply Simpsons in Kenilworth. It appears to be walking/staggering distance from the Monfort de McDonald hotel.
Stef and Ailwyn-I have received all of the headlight rebuild parts save for one set of bushings which should be here this week.
Jim-Are you needing a set of rear calipers from Dorman Products/Summit Racing? If so, speak now so I can get them before I go. Anybody else?
Sincerely,
Algirdas

Algirdas,
Simply Simpsons looks good.
Ailwyn, are you going to book? If so, put me down for a place - thanks.
Algirdas,
If you have space in your case, yes, I would like a pair of rear calipers and 2 sets of pads would be welcome, too. Thanks
Looking forward to the 11th...

Unfortunately I've just heard back from them and they cannot accomodate any kind of "party" as they are almost fully booked for that date.
Looks like most of the restaurants in Jim's link are walking distance, the hotel that Algirdas and I have booked into is in the island where the B4104 meets the B4103 at the top of Warwick Road. Kenilworth is not that big so getting to any of the places on foot shouldn't be a problem, and there are a few pubs to drop into on the way

See if we can get a consensus on a few restaurants to try and I'll get in touch with them to see about availability, will need rough numbers though.

Dear Jim:
Calipers? The Dorman units Alan talked about from Summit Racing? If so, please confirm and I will order them tomorrow. About $90 unless I need faster shipping.
Pads? Aren't you going to use EBC Green Stuff pads? This is going to look pretty stupid with me bringing you pads from the US and me bringing EBC Green Stuffs from the UK to the US.
What kind of pads are you looking for? I can get real cheapo pads here for next to nothing. Used ones for even less.
Sincerely,
Algirdas

Well there is the Trading Post pub where some of us have met before.
It's just off the A14 into Kettering on mid Kettering exit where the A43 joins from Northampton.
Literally come off the A14, up a slight hill and you see the Trading Post pub on your right. Turn right at the mini roundabout an into the car park.
I don't really know of may other good stop off/meet points before you hit the M6.
