Chris,

Relax. I've been a tad busy this week.

What do you want me to say?

I'm happy with all the venues and I've told you the dates I CAN do, so ...
let me know where and when...

Oh, and turkey and xmas pud are my preferred main and dessert ...

i'm not talking about you guys who have made it quite clear what your MO's are but what about everyone else. suppose i just book 16 slots at the 'oak' and go on a first come first serve basis. The oak is not that big by all accounts (read Stevies post). i'll give tham a call and see how they are fixed.

Sorry for not being on sooner. I can't get lec at work anymore and i don't get much surfing time at home. Michelle and I cannot make the 3/12/06 coz we'll be driving back from cologne, but are ok for any of the others.

Take care all and hopefully I'll get on soon.

Not been on the forum much of late, as lots of other things to do. 10 Dec should be OK (my problem if not) I'll check with SWMBO and post numbers, plan would be for 4 of us (well 2 and 2 halves anyway).

Xmas Lunch

Postby NickHawk » Wed 08.11.2006, 14:19

Hi Chris et all,

We can now make it on the 10th Dec (although I will probably have a hangover) if there is space for 2 more. Please let me know if you need some money for deposit etc.

May even come in "incontinentia".

Regards

I've now been onto the Royal Oak and have confirmed 16. Now they have requested £5 deposit for each person. I have suggested that we could use the RO as the next venue for the monthly meet (6/12/06) with an aim to settling the deposits. Yes, I know it's only 4 days away from the lunch itself but hey at least we should know where it is and won't have any excuses on the day.

Apparently they are quite busy on a sunday so if we want to get parked up in true LEC style we'll have to be there early. But maybe we could sweet talk the landlord into getting us some designated parking if we go on the 6th.

He is sending me the menus but of course it is on their website, which at the time of typing is off line. However as and when it is on line could you make your menu choice and publish it here and i will try and collate it all and get it to the RO (see stevies earlier post).

That's it for now - any questions get back to me or any problems with meeting at the RO for the regular meet.

Cheers Chris
