Re photos, I'd like to see some of Andrews photos where he was using his binoculars as a telefoto lens on his iphone
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Great photo's Chris. I've got some of the balloon that nearly landed on your gazebo but I've mislaid my "point and shoot" at the moment. Will post when it turns up

Glad I went, was going to bail out, then got a late call from Rambo re camping. Weather turned out perfect. Hope to be back next year. Lets get a big LEC contingent. Most disappointing moments were only getting 1 lap of the track, and Adam & the Ants, who were frankly pantz.

Talking balloons - did anyone else see the balloons being fired up on the track just before Adam Ant was on? What was the point of that as they didn't take off?

Also did one catch fire just as he was starting?

Saw the balloons going up at AA but didn't see one catching fire  Scott enjoyed the concert really and knew all the words to Prince Charming. Minda took a video of him dancing and I think we could see it on YouTube  It's amazing what a few tinnies of Magners does for you ;-)

Yes I say his post on there too. Spoke to him about it (didn't want to post anything on that thread as that's the thread the guy is trying to sell his car on). Don't think he's buying it - but you never know....

You just never know Rambo ?, the interest in the car is still there, & if the right one came up at the right price, but i think the question is, could the forum take Gary & i again, after all, our ( shall we say unique) sense of humour & banter was not appreciated by all, but hey, having been keeping an eye on the forum, it certainly could do with some livening up .

Apparently there is rumoured to be a red one for sale on my driveway, but the owner isn't really pushing it too hard - it' done 20 odd miles in the last year (just for an MOT and back, and round the block every so often to keep it working!) - so quite well used compared to a blue one in Manchester :D

The forum has been a bit quiet of late, a fact talked about at our last LOCAL meeting which the West Mids boys invaded - I'm sure most would welcome your return by throwing flower petals at you feet......... and flour bombs at Gary.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

:agree:

Those within reasonable distance may even to be tempted to go to a meet at Elton. I don't suppose Gary has changed enough to be willing to drive any further. :poke:

Paul, would be great to have you back and Gary in something less gray than an MX5 or Medina Elan :P

There is a Palacio for sale in Glasgow, on Auotrader. I'm pretty sure its Alan2CVs which he sold last year. A rather mint S2, palacio mint if you know what I mean and not minty Medina..... yeah lets get the banter flowing, this topic already off topic

I see you havn't lost your sense of humour Dave  , was gonna come to Dony this year, before it was cancelled, but will hopefully be there next, ( with GG ), it will be good to catch up with some old friends !, another elan is certainly on the cards, but exactly when is uncertain yet, although that black S2 thats for sale did get my juices flowing
