Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

if you get a vid then PM Tony cause I'm sure we could put it on the site and link to it . . . even if it is only temporary.

How do you downsize a vid.?.
The one I have from my race around the Ring is a 226 MB Mpeg, and it is way to large to send as a mail.

Delta,
You really must try to set a better lap time so that you can get the video down to a manageable size.

Now you'll just have to go back again next year and try harder.

John :-D

PS. One of these days (?Donington?) I hope to see some of these Nurburgring videos.

Thanks Chris. Viewed my copy today, great footage :)
The clip of Stef prancing round the bonfire singing voodoo songs was a beaut! :-D

P.s, I've spoken to a guy on here today that timed his lap at less than 10 minutes!
Step forward sir :)

As per TopGear the timing is usually taken from the bridge (just after you join) around until the Gantry (on the start finish straight).

Clarkson did it in 9:59 i think it was. (Diesel S type Jag)

Sabine 10:08 (Transit Van)

Jim, do you also have a timeline on your video. :?:
Could be great fun to compare the different sections, to see where we was gaining or loosing time. :burnout:

Looking forward to recive the DVD. Any idea when it is ready for release. :?:

Have been running both your an my video in 2 diff. viewers at the same time. And what a race. :!: Just super. 8)

In the beginning you gain a litle but loose a lot due to the accidente site.
A litle later I'm hold up in some trafic, but from 1/3 of the ring we are side by side, we both have a clear run's, and the video's are just like sycronised watchses, none of us gaining or loosing more than a few meters, and we both cross the gantry spot on. We even follow the same line when ever possible.

Only major difference is that I don't have nice music to follow the action, only the mourning sound from the tyres.

Good run Jim, could'n have done it better my self.

EXCELLENT VIDEO --that's what I was looking for!

what's with all that graffiti in white on the track -- it doesn't look like accident markings? I didn't think people could get out there to do graffiti ? ? ?

also what was the camera set-up and way it was recorded?

is there any chance at all that we could get deltas footage put in video on Jims video and synchronised obviously :-D :-D :-D

Doug, its a bit like they do at the tour de france on the mountain stages - write peoples names etc. it only happens where the track passes close to public access poits though.

[edit] don't bother putting my footage on cos it will make the video too long[/edit]
