Lotus Festival Snetterton 25-26 JUNE

For those who may be interested Lotus will be showing their coming range of cars along with the classic Elise GT1 plus.
A fantastic weekend of entertainment promised, including racing from the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup UK, on track demonstrations from Classic Team Lotus, and a world record attempt for the most cars on track from a single marquee.

Stef/Lansledj, nice one in sorting the camping with Burt, as G UK said, we saved a space last year but sounds like we'll need a bigger space this time around
The firepit sounds perfect, huddling around a disposable BBQ last year was a bit ineffective! Do you want me to bring firewood?

Got some more camping stuff from MissElan's parents this weekend so things we are now bringing:

I have registered for the world record attempt also but have not received anything yet the feedback i have got is that we should receive confirmation in about a week or so...

I plan to bring lots of booze and my old marine sleeping bag ( to keep the cold out) booze to numb the handbag convo that is bound to take place with miss elan

What a numpty looked in the envelope and guess what there was a ticket inside next to he flyer that i had seen did everyone also get a second smaller envelope with a blue admit one sticker.

Yep, firewood will be required. If people can bring wood and or coals for the fire pit we will be able to ging gang goolie into the early hours and keep warm!

Has any body checked that you can have a fire pit before you all go carting half a tree to the site?
It may not have bothered them in previous years as they were going to dig the place up for the new track but they may well have landscaped the area now.
