TOSSPOT

I'm surprised his hips allow him to get in and out of it.

I'm even more surprised he can get in and out of the Last Tango in Peebles.

So far out of 43 posts, only 30 are on topic! Is this a record?

1) Is anyone interested? YES!
2) Sykeside or elsewhere? I'm open
3) When? Reasonably flexible
4) What would you like to do?

1) Dave & Angie (dapinky)
2) Dico & Jayne (possibly Sam...?)
3) Rambo (possibly Jock as well ?)
4) rip
5) Rob P & Matt
6) Nick, Kim & Isabelle
7) G UK

Would like to have a trailer by then so could bring the campervan with the Elan on a trailer. Best of both worlds.

Pencil me and Dearge in but may b&b rather than risk going under canvas.

I've trawled back though the thread twice but can't see a firm date.
As per Shaun's comment, I'll be spending the 31st on my bike in Norfolk. Any clashes will lose out.

So, do we have a date yet. Need to get it firmly in the calendar before SWMBO fills it up with fizzy wine club weekends for her and her mates :?

The real Rambo is still very much alive and kicking John. Its just SWMBO who is into fizzy wine weekends

Can we tempt you and Maggie down for a camping w/e in the Lakes ? The ale and scenery is almost as good as in Scotland :!:

Dave, do you want to push this on once your back from 'nam. Will never get a date that suits everybody, you did mention May 30th Bank hols which will work for most but only 10 wks so will need to sort out a campsite.

Okay, there is some movement on this.......

.... I've just got off the phone to Sykeside asking if they will allow us to attend (their policy is groups of no more than 6 adults!).

I explained that we were a 'responsible, mature group' :? :? and had been before.

The guy I spoke to will need to pass the request up the food chain, and I have been told that they'll phone me back in "the next few days"

At the moment, they have vacancies for the last weekend in May (Fri 29th - Sun 31st), with spaces for tents, campervans and caravans (with or without hookups).

As such, I am intending to make it that weekend, even though it may not suit Mrs P! (so, if I'm on my own, I can offer a seat to Mrs Ginger-Stretch unless your elan is still off the road and you use the Skoda - but we're seeing you the week before, anyway).

Should it all work out, I'll make a provisional reservation, and everyone can contact Sykeside directly and ask to be situated as part of the 'LEC group' (unless you don't wish to be associated).
