I was tempted, and i even have permission, but a four hour drive.... with The Murph! Now come on boys

Four hours is just too far, especialy when you've been driving all week.
Does sound a good weekend mind.
Have fun :-)

My mate had permission to go out for a loaf of bread and was warned not to have anything to do with me- he took 3 days to get the bread and was arrested for throwing chips into a tree- for the birds.

Neeless to say I set him up and then scarpered- its got to be done.

I'll be sending my application form first thing tomorrow...
The reason for the lack of planning is that I've only just joined 'cos I've only had my Elan a week....and despite rebuilding the brakes and getting new tyres I've still completed 500miles.
So I'll meet at the stated time and place and am looking forward to meeting like minded nutters.
Cheers

You don't hang around. I have had mine 5 months and am just about to do my brake rebuild. (Next month looks likely for that).

Look forward to meeting you on Sunday.

So nice to be invited to join in with the friendly banter of the schoolyard. I should fit right in here.
I'm in Norfolk and -dare I mention it - I used to be employed by our cars' assembler....
but I'm alright now, I think.

Hopefully you'll be able to meet us in Cambridge services on the A14 at 8.30 then? Only about 10-15 miles off the A11, so probably less out of your way than for anyone else.

Does that mean you're going to get the Elan running again in time to bring it to Stortford this Sunday??????

Along with a flying pig of course.
