We need to start thinking about getting to the 'Pool' folks.

We have to be at the ferry 1hr before departure and cos of our cars being special they advised we dont cut this short.

We need to be in Liverpool by 1100.

Convoy would be good

M11 and A14 up to M6 picking up Neil and Joe at Junction 1 or 2 on M6 and then north to pick up Paul and Larissa somewhere round Stafford.

That sounds good to me Dave.

Just let us know where and when and we'll be there.

Did Gareth not pursue things any further?
I would have liked to have gone via the Cat & Fiddle then meet up around junction 19 of the M6 if possible.
My Autoroute says that it takes 45 minutes to get from J15 to J19, which would make it a nice round 10am.
How does that sound?

8) Gareth still a non runner at the mo- still thinking.

Junction not good really has to be services- Knutsford and we'll be rolling thro. Would have to be 1000 at the latest in case we have any probs getting into Liverpool with a load of reprobates like you lot- I'm OK I can speak the lingo. Lots of Judy cops in the "Pool" so have to be careful.

Just about 2 weeks to go lads and lass- hope your cars are up for it.
Nearer the time I'll pm you the booking reference for the ferry but best we try and get together en route as planned. We have been advised not to be late. Ticket is non transferrable so you have to get there.

Hotel is confirmed and your liable for that now.

Lets pray for some good weather.

I've had a job go bad on me. I've not had chance to book anything. I'm free this weekend so will try and sort it. I hope I can still make it.

Isle of Man contact has been in touch this morning and has confirmed that he is as I'm writing this out there trying out stretches of road where we can do what we do best- We'll have to show our appreciation when we are there in the form of some beer, I think.

Some changes to the above trip as there is an open pit lane at

http://www.duketrackdays.com/cars/index.shtml

on the Saturday afternoon.
I have booked you all in for it!!!
Dont feel as though you have to, it was just an opportunity I didnt want to overlook and it will get booked up if I hadnt done something about it. I'll go with the majority. So long as I cancel with 48 hrs notice.

BUT I need to know if you are up for it asap.

3 hour open pit lane 1300 to 1600

Cost booked already by me in advance £60 per car

Helmets available on track.

If you are not interested I'll have you deleted from the list.

Not up for the track thing - cant even negotiate my way past a garage door frame  Car will be in for repair.

But no matter PW's got a NMY so I wasn't gonna take it anyway

Red one looks like a Royal Mail van with the amount of digs and scrapes on it so what the hell.

I'm in. :-D

Just hope I'll be able to get my screen sorted before then, but I think it's doubtful.
Wonder if the extra flexing of throwing the car around on track would finish the screen off...?
Ah what the hell - I have a visor on my crash helmet! 8)

They wouldnt let you on the track with a cracked screen mate. It'll be checked - needs to be done before anyway.
