Still haven't got my elan back yet :x they said all work done :o but they just need to put car back together :( but not holding out too much hope for car being ready for sunday. If i do get her back before, i don't really want to tax her for july (currently sorn coz tax ran out while been in garage) for just a couple of days. That said, we'll bring charlie in the snotter. But so it's not a too long day for him (and embarrasment of not being able to keep up) can we see you back at yours for bbq, nige, after you've been to haynes.

All still good for tomorrow at this end. At the risk of mentioning the weather (no comments Jim!) the forecast is looking better than today but not the heat we've had over the last couple of weeks.

Nige, Jim, Chris,

Good to see you all again. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the scoff part but I enjoyed the spin bit!

Nige, Jim, sorry I didn't say goodbye, wasn't sure where abouts you were when I decided to get on back down to the southwest. Got back in plenty of time in the end so I could have stuck around for a bit longer.

Off to pack now and get ready to go to Bristol.

See you all soon,

Kier.

Thanks for a great afternoon everyone, especially Nige and family for making us feel so welcome. i do feel a bit guilty though. not much of my meat was cooked. Put the chicken on with a view to putting the rest on when there was more space on the bbq, got side tracked and didn't get around to it.

Hope you all made it home safely. saw you jim stopped in traffic on the m27 (i think) hope you weren't stuck there for too long.

Take care all, thanks again and see you wednesday.

PS thanks for the eggs too, nige.

Yes, A great day out.

Thanks to Nige, Lyn and Katey for their hospitality.

It was good to meet up with Kier, Chris, Deirdre (sp?) Rob, Michelle, Charlie and Jonathan, too.

Kier, hope the course goes Ok.

We were stuck in a 10 mile jam on the M3, so didn't arrive home until 10:15 which was a nuisance.

Nige, that was a superb road - real Elan country !! Thank you, too, for the eggs.

Until the next time

Kindest regards

Jim&Jenny
