Nigel

Being as I'll be heading up the RV and drive-in, you'd better jiff me with the ticket dealing-out as well.
See you at the bar...

Thanks for clarification Nige, sounds simple enough to me, keep up the good work. Think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that your effort on getting the LEC stall sorted is much appreciated.

I'll have a better idea of times when Nigel has been given the arrivals brief by CL.
As for breakfasts...?

Just spoken with Sam at CL. I have confirmed that the tickets for all M100s in the mass arrival are complementary (free!). I will collect enough tickets for all who have stated their intent to attend (I'll add a few spares in to catch the forgetful or undecided) whilst setting the stand up on the Saturday. I will hand all of the tickets to Sy at the hotel on Saturday night, Sy will then distribute tickets at the RV to all on the run in.

Arrival time at Stoneleigh at the end of the run in is at 0945. The cars will be parked along the back wall of the building either side of the stand and will be in position by 1000 when the doors open to the public. Once in the hall you are there until the fair ends at 1600, if you want to leave earlier than 1600 don't park in the hall, this is non-negotiable for public safety and liability reasons.

I will now concentrate on sorting the rest of the stand out and will produce a roster for manning the stand from those who have offered to help out. This is just to ensure we have adequate cover for the whole 6 hours of the show as everything on display is someones personal property and we need to look after it.

I received a call from Alan Morgan who now runs Club Lotus yesterday advising that Pat Thomas of Kelvedon Motors will be giving a talk on the M100 between 1200 and 1400 on Sunday 13 Nov at Stoneleigh. The talk will be held upstairs in the theatre and further details will be available on the day. Alan tells me Pat has a good collection of slides to accompany the talk. I know Pat reasonably (as a customer of his) and he is very knowedgeable on all things Lotus including our Elan. He always serviced mine from new, until I moved to the other end of the country, and I certainly would pay great attention to anything he has to say. Might well be interesting and worthwhile, I understand there are abouit 40 seats available in the theatre.

Can I request we have a formal time set for discussing the bid we are to put forward to the Guinness Book of Records?

After speaking to Nige 3pm seems appropriate. Hangovers should have wekened, bellies should be full of food and the show will be winding down.

The application really needs to be in ASAP as it will take a few months to process. I'd rather it be knob on on first submission so things run smoother.

Cheers all! :D

Thanks for the clarification Nige. We will be up for the mass entry (and free tickets  ) but won't park in the hall. Any chance some-one could video the M100 talk as I can't see my kids sitting through it....

Just can't believe how sexist you are
JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus

Removed myself from the list as sadly I can't make it any more. When is Donington?
