Hi,

I'll not be able to make the weekend of 3/4th June unfortunately as my new job's got me travelling up to Dundee on the Sunday. I'll be there for 2 weeks so am busy then too.

Hope y'all have a great weekend.
Would've been nice to meet some of you.

I'm camping in Scotland the BH weekend before and off to LM2006 the w/e after so will have to give it a miss, though later in the summer could work.

Mark,

1) for a change and 2) as I cant be ersed with 400 miles of traffic jams 3) and cos I've never been 4) and Skye sceduled for July = Kirkcudbright

No idea of pubs and seafood restaurants but we shall camp and take it as it comes. Also just noticed there is a half marathon on Sat avro so may try that, and probably visit David Coulthards museum at Tynholm to see the thousands of trophies he has won :wink:

What happened to the Dico/Stef/Monty threesome ?? I will definitely be in Rhodes that w/e but am still looking forward to an LEC camp event later in the winter - sorry summer !!

I'm still in but might be best to look at mid September or something as August is quite busy for many of us. Well, I hve the Ring and also hope to do Callander Classics again.

I intend to be at Callander again this year, and am trying to persuade my wife to join me. It's 26-27th August and details are here:

If the weather's good I will stay both days, but if it's iffy I might just be there on Saturday. Hopefully Andrew will be there to defend his "best Lotus" cup win.

Is that the Millets one that comes in a backpack and self assembles ?
I was thinking of getting one.
Does it really do what it says on the tin and self assemble. ?

Hmm, think someone took one of them to PistonFest. Only a single skin tent and real flimsy. Dunno if it will stand Scottish weather as it struggled with Norfolk!

I'd personally invest a little more and get something that will last.

Yes Monty - shame it wasn't on - we could annoy everyone on the campsite with our new PECO exhausts.

Called by Sykeside on the way back from PECO HQ. Just as well we didn't do the camping trip this w/e. Campsite mobbed with kids and families - half term again. What a bloody nightmare. Did a quick U turn and decided to thrash back to Edinburgh

Beautifull evening though and a great chance to drop a few cogs and hear the sound of the new exhaust reverberating off those Lakeland stone wall dykes
