EURO TOUR 2008

Just testing the waters folks as planning is already in progress.

Proposal
Shed load of M100s gather and head for Holland via Harwich through Germany, Switzerland, Italy to Monaco then a route back through France maybe taking in a bridge or two. Gathering as many Euro chums on the way as we can.

Who's interested? State which month/res month would be best and whether you need the divorce to come through first.

DaveT May Sept I don't answer to anyone.

Would love to go to the to Germany next year and do the Ring in Pinky, but that`ll be down to twisting Dico`s arm to come along and obviously time & money.

I`ll keep an eye on this thread to see what evolves

Will this be a camping trip?

SELOC usually do Stelvio in September. Might be worth you having a look there to.

Dave T,
your other Euro Invasion thread appears to be turning into "a very relaxed weekend.....classic car parade event"

...so I am assuming that this must be the thread for the European high thrills driving trip?

Have you had any more thoughts on this?

I was watching a re-run of TopGear the other day where they did the Stelvio Pass tour....and it looked like fun!

I wouldn't be interested in stopping off for any tracks just a good ole road trip!

Hi Paul
I'm still up for a trip, but with no tracks or classic club events. All dependant on me selling this house asap. Then things will start moving. I'll probably not do any track work till my track car is finished which probably wont be till IOM 2008.

Just so there is no confusion I have re labelled these threads.

This one is as titled.

I will hopefully be able to do one of these this year and will be looking at end June.

Whichever one doesnt run this year will run next year.

Numbers will decide.
