I have been told that this has been pretty good in previous years:
http://www.merlinflyingclub.co.uk/pageant.html
It's only a few miles from me anyway, and at a fiver admission, if the weather holds out it seems like you can't go wrong.
So if anyone fancies a meet up and a nosey around, give us a yell or express an interest below, and we can probably arrange something.

To be honest Gareth I don't know.
There's no closing date mentioned, but it is of course only a few days away.
I'd say print off and fill in the form and send it ASAP - you may be lucky.
If not, the piggy bank may have to buy the farm!

Gareth, you missed absolutely nothing at all.
It was a complete washout.
There was no flying, no other Elans or classic vehicle parade, and even the stalls shut up shop around 2pm.
Fortunately for me it was only a few miles away from home and I met someone there anyway (who I'll hopefully be bringing along with me on the Serpentine Run next week).
I felt very sorry for those who put themselves out or spent time and money getting there though.

I wasn't all that sure I could make it today. I took one look at the weather and decided against making the extra effort to attend.
