Peter Stevens

Postby theelanman » Tue 18.11.2008, 01:58

ok guys this is a very quick one and with very limited numbers.......
Im organising a night with Peter again this time at Bentley in Crewe......
the work force are coming and the IMechE are also going to be in attendance......
I think I may have a few spare places availabe however these will be very limited....and when I say very limited I mean 5 or so......
this quantity is still to be confirmed but so far Im finding it a very popular event......

the date is tuesday the 9th of december.....

at the moment this will be an 'only if' scenario but if youd be interested I will see what I can do...but it will be on a first come first served basis and as Ive said very much dependant on the rest of the workers and IMechE continued response......

I guess I'll only know more in the next 10 days......

if youre interested in coming please add your names here and I'll see what I can do......
on the other hand if I get a massive response I'll see what I could sort for an LEC evening......maybe Donington....I'll need to talk to Peter depending on the response.........

I'll stress again that this is a heads up and very limited numbers and will only be done on first come first served.......sorry to be so vaugue but Id like to get some of our LEC members there too.........

cheers
G

That IS the car I'm coming in.

I'm not turning up at Bentley in a Peugeot, Vauxhall, Rover, Honda or Audi.

Don't say it. Six cars between two drivers is too many. I know. I know. Normally we only have four.

Mnemonix (Chris) expressed an interest when I saw him on Sunday.
But I'm not sure of travel arrangements yet (his OR mine).
If I can get my grumbly driveshaft done this weekend I'll use the Elan, and probably bring him along as my passenger.
Otherwise it will be the Pug as previously PM'd.

I've just had a text back from him - he can't make it so it's just me.
Now all I need to do is find a decent enough gap in the weather to sort the Elan out - I don't want to be turning up in the workhorse!
(If I can get it done in time the reg is J360CWF - you've got the Pug's details already)

I'm not turning up at Bentley in a Peugeot, Vauxhall, Rover, Honda or Audi.

+ Elan = six

The Vauxhall is SORNed, and is my wife's. Lotus handling, though, so it will return!
The Peugeot is my niece's, being kept 'active' while she's in NZ.
The Jazz is borrowed.
The Audi's gone!

So only two in our name on the road....
