Elan Art

Photo Opportunity

So how many M100's will be converging on Malvern in October?

I have an idea for a photo op.

Could we fill a quarry with Elans? And then get some interesting photos from above.
Malvern is famous for it's Hills which are dotted with many disused quaries, most of which have been turned into car parks.

As a Contemporary Sculptor who lives in Malvern I have been trying (without success) to get various ideas of permanent sculptures to be placed on the Malvern hills. But the idea of temporary works of art (recorded with photography) are possibly feasible.

Could we create some art with our Elans?

This sounds like an excellent idea, Andy.

Andy, good idea my thoughts are turning towards Malvern and what I need to do for it (book accommodation for a start). I'll look to raise the profile of this and think how we can catch as many cars as possible.

Right, I've booked my accomodation for the Friday (B&B about 2 miles from the showground). Am about to go onto the convoy thread and post an RV which logically would be Strensham Sevices (M5/M50 junction) just need to work out whether Northbound or Southbound is best for the majority. This will be the best option for a decent number of Elans together, unless we do something from the parts sale say early or mid afternoon so people do it as they are ready to depart the sale.

Hi All
Thanks for your comments on this but I'm afraid I have been to busy to organise anything, I did spend some time on the hills a few weeks ago but was unable to find a suitable location.

Regards

Andy, no worries, understood and recognise the picture. Hope to see you at the fair anyway.
