nice run up to the show, until we got off the m50 and a hose split (made temporary repair to get to show),bought some hose and fitted(many thanks to pinky for the loan of his tools).
enjoyed the show and decided to make our way home, got to the roundabout at ross and lost all the gears (could not select anything) worked out where third was on the selector on the gear box (decided this was the best bet if i had to stop at the lights in monmouth) stuck it in third, and then crept back to newport. (and the lights were red at monmouth and at the m4 coldra).
anyway, got home and have had a quick look(if i put the selectors in neutral on the gearbox, i am able to get it into a gear with the gearstick, but then cant select neutral or any other gears with the stick) so am thinking that the cables need replacing?.
oh the joys of lotus ownership !.

Bummer Brian. Sorry to hear that you had trouble....even more a shame since it looks so lovely in its new paint. Hope you get it sorted soon.
