just wanted to say what a great day,,,, many thanks to gazza for the lift even though he told me if i don,t behave he was going to sling me out on the hard shoulder it was a good run up,, enjoyed watching mr RIP blasting past us at 130 sorry i mean 75 mph,,, unfortunately my elan has an oil leak at the moment so was not advised to drive, just had the head ported gas flowed but seems to be leaking oil from stem seals, did anyone get a chance to look at the yellow original elan with a BDG cosworth motor what a work of art.... i wonder if a BDG would fit an elan m100...

A man with very deep pockets as a BDG would cost £20,000 + just for engine but could be made to fit and it is lighter than stock engine.

I deny that completely :shock: I've never driven the Elan faster than 125 :lol:
