Hello,
Sylvie and myself we Wonder about a good week-end opportunity in UK with some lotus friends, but we are lazy and have old french bones, so Donington seems to be too far for us.
What about an interesting event or meeting somewhere in the circle Southampton- Reading- Colchester ?
Any idea ... let us know (we come through Dover , you know the way) .
Have a great december and more,
Pascal & Sylvie

Bonjour Pascal
We'd love to see you in Wiltshire, but that's a bit down the M4 from your 'circle'. We have quite a few members in this area, and are getting a regular meet off the ground. We also have a Club Lotus day at our local racing circuit in late May.
Alternatively, there's a regular meet in Alton (south west of London near M3), where I'm sure you would be very welcome.
Whatever you decide, it would be great to see you. Bon voyage et bonnes vacances!

there is a pretty large Lotus meeting at Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey second Sunday in May..... the 14th
its at Mercedes Benz World.....and theres the Museum too (cars, bikes, planes, buses)
there is then the Lotus Festival at Brands Hatch which is usually the last weekend in August......

I would recommend the Brooklands Lotus meet. Its just held outside the Museum
https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/ so would recommend allowing half a day or ideally a day also at the museum also which I think is the best in the country.
You could stay 1 or 2 or even 3 nights here
http://www.brooklandshotelsurrey.com/. Journey time from the tunnel about 1.5 hours
In case Sylvie gets bored suggest a day at Hampton Court which is only 20 minutes away
http://www.hrp.org.uk/hampton-court-palace/ perhaps also Kew Gardens
http://www.kew.org/ or it is very easy from Brooklands to get a train to Central London -40 mins journey time.
