Do you guys (and girls ) track your cars at CC or just watch and do a bit of tyre kicking and banter ?

Is it just a one day thing or do people go down on the Friday and camp, curry, beers etc... ?

Long way for me to make the pilgrimage but, you never know, one day there could be representation from north of the border :burnout:

Mark

I usually do the track sessions and take someone out there with me. Have been known to let another take the Evora out too with me as passenger. I also like to get out there as a passenger to get tips on how and how not to tackle the track.

There are always people staying locally in hotels and b&bs both Friday and Saturday. If you want to use my gaff in north Gloucs you can.

Yep, always track - not missed one for 26 years, awesome fun....

And I'm also happy to take passengers, used to take out Spud until he twice had a jinxing effect on mechanical reliability on track!

I've never been before (well, not to a Lotus day, I went to CC once in the mid-80s), I was tempted to try the track, but I didn't fancy it on newly rebuilt suspension. I must start that soon, the parts are in a box next to me here!

Incidentally, Kathryn is the only one who didn't add some sort of caveat in the list!

Mark,

I have been known to venture onto the track in previous years - but for the last couple it's been more of a 'tyre-kicking and banter' type of day.

There are local 'proper' campsites, B&Bs etc - but there are also those who just pitch a tent next to their cars in the seperate paddock area to the left of the gate as you go into the circuit.

I've seen motorhomes, caravans, campervans and tents at the site - and no great bother with them being there.

I never track the car, but do the lunchtime parade, kick tyres and join in the BBQ (weather permitting) I'm not that far away ~ your welcome to stay here and do a 'mini convoy'
