Isle of Man 5th to 8th Oct 2007

Just a tester to see if any of you would be interested in me organising a long weekend to the Isle of Man say October time. For a long weekend and take in some of those testing roads with NO speed limit.

If uve been there before you know how good this could be.

Might also be able to combine it with a visit to a couple of special places/people on the island to let the cars cool down for an hour or two.

Leave Fri return Monday. Two full days on the island.

Dependant on dates, I'm up for it.

I'm committed to a fortnight in Romania in October, and a week diving in Northern Ireland in September, so if it can be fitted in, i'll be there.

Just so you have some idea of cost the return ferry cost will be about £132. There is a possibility we can negotiate a group discount to bring this down toward the £100 but we cannot do this till we have more firm ideas of numbers. Most likely travel time will be midday from Liverpool on the Friday, returning on the early Monday ferry.

Proposal- ferry out friday morning and back Monday morning. Two full days on the island so we should get a couple of goes at the TT circuit and have time to do some other routes as well.

As soon as I get some definte agreement re dates I will make plans with ferry company and find somewhere we can have a drink or two.

Sooner the better chaps.

I'm in Romania from the Tue before, to the Thurs after - but I always knew that was a possibility.

Due to the recognised level of interest already, I can't expect you to change the date just to accomodate me, so will have to bow out of this one .

As effect today monday 16th the ferry cost will be £130

But this is a moveable item and will get more expensive.

Those who are going will need to confirm with me asap

The ferry times will be 1200 from Liverpool on 5th Oct and then return 0845 on the monday.

In case anyone decides to join us at the last minute

We are departing from Liverpool 1200 on Friday 5th October and returning on 0800 from Douglas.
