Having new hood (conv top) installed

I'm finally getting around to putting my new hood on. The color is BRG to go with the BRG paint. The car is being dropped off tonight and I should have it back within 2 days. I picked a shop that was located 2 doors down from a Lotus dealer that has been out of business now for several years. The owner said that they new the car very well, and had replaced many M100 hoods in the 90's. When I get it back I'll post some pics.

interesting how your memory fades, and one Elan hood turns into "done it many times." I hope he's right cause the experience will help!

I shouldn't say "the south" but rather southern California. I did live in Paducah and Sarasoto though once for a very very short time. So short and so long ago I wouldn't be able to find my way around anymore.

On to the top (hood). It will be done today, but prabably won't have pictures until next week because I'll be making the 1000 mile round trip again this weekend, leaving Friday and coming back late Sunday. It's really weird, but I'm so used to the drive it's turned into a meditative type experience.
