Hood - Plastic Trim around handle and windscreen catches

Postby peter.r.hill » Fri 10.11.2017, 05:43

Any suggestions to fix badly cracked plastic trim where the hood locks down onto the top of the windscreen. Fibreglass perhaps?

I had the same problem. SouthWest Lotus in the UK do a complete replacement in fibreglass, which works well and is pretty robust. It comes unpainted and undrilled. I do have a template kindly made up for me by lotusflasherman, but it’s not really feasible to send it to Australia.

Hope that helps.

I'm not certain it's the part you want but the hood finisher A100B6170S is on the lotus cheap list at the minute. Its on deroure for £8. Hope that helps.
