Is that one of Phil's ( surfboardfiller)? He made one of the early full rear panels.

Nope . Phil's are 125mm these ones are 120mm light fittings.

Looks to me like you'll need rear side-repeaters if you fit those...

Was i correctly advised that it will not house the Elise rear lights as they are 125mm ?

Chris, I had studied these photos a week or so ago, but maybe you know the answer as you made them - is there a way to provide number plate illumination without fitting a unit which protrudes from the panel (and in my opinion, would spoil the look of it)....
...... The only thought I had was something on the underside of the spoiler pointing downwards??????

Personally, I'd much prefer my rear registration to be on the hard to see side rather than illuminated like the Blackpool illuminations

Hi Clemo, yes they were designed to fit the Elise S2 rear lights both the standard and later led ones, I think the cut outs are 115mm -120mm I don't have the Elan here to measure them though.
Hi Dapinky, this type of panel was designed with the TVR backlit number plates in mind, so all I did was have a couple of bulb holders mounted behind the plate. I later changed the design to have a cut out for the number plate which was lit from above by a couple of leds. Which you can hopefully see from the only picture I have to hand atm.
I can't believe quite how long ago I made the mould for these!!
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris
your number plate recess area looks bigger than the one on ebay or is that just the angle .
The guy who is selling them has 2 for sale and has the moulds for them to fit 120mm lights .Did you sell the moulds on as well ?

That one looks much better than the ebay one. much neater finish around the number plate.

I messaged him a couple of weeks ago about it and he said it was one that he had made.
" DONT KNOW A CHRIS P, I MADE THE MOULD FOR THESE , THEY ARE A SINGLE FULL BACK PANEL "
Yours are much nicer Chris

Ive asked MattD but nothing there .
