Adjusting hood frame

Postby fillpoke » Wed 09.05.2018, 09:12

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could advise me on how to adjust my hood frame. The problem I have is that when the hood is shut there is an uneven gap between it and the windscreen, the gap being larger on the passenger side and smaller on the driver side. I can't for the life of me see any adjustment on the hood frame which would allow me to even things out. So my question is: how do I adjust the frame to get the gap between the hood and the windscreen even all the way around? Thanks in advance for any help. Dave

Fit of hood to windscreen is adjusted by the position of the latches. Unlatch the hood from the screen, slacken the 3 setscrews holding the latch and move it further back. (The holes in the latch are oval to allow adjustment but covered by large washers.)
Re-tighten and it should pull the hood further forward on that side when re-latched..
