wiper linkage fixing nut and washer

The nut (thin) and washer that hold the wiper mechanism in place look very pitted and rusty so I was going to treat the car to nice new stainless ones. I thought they were m18 fine half nuts but as so often wrong again . Does anyone know the correct size and thread?
