Stripped Roof Bolt Thread

I got to the bottom of why one of the roof bolts keeps falling out. The thread in the frame is damaged, stripped totally. This is a pain in the bum.

Plan is the clean the hole up to the correct diameter to enable me to bond a t nut into the hole from the opposite face.

I'll have to shorten the threaded section slightly but the flat sheet head should allow the mechanism of the roof to still operate unobstructed.
