Swearing at, not swearing with!

Well, it had to happen. I picked up the missus for lunch earlier this week. As she opened the door, **POP!**. I had her repeat. **POP!** I stepped out and looked at the door. Fit looks alright even if a bit off. I look at the bodywork while opening the door. The front part of the door is pressing against the panel just behind the front wheel arch. When opening, the door should clear just fine, going over the panel. Now, the two pieces are rubbing against each other, causing friction and **POP!!**. Grr.

I have had the same thing happen on both my Elans and all you have to do to fix the problem is adjust the bottom section of the front fender.

You can adjust the bottom section of the front fender by first removing the wheel well in order to get the access to the two top bolts behind the fender. The only hard part is getting a wrench (socket) on the two bolts inside the door frame. Ajsut the possition of the bottom section of the front fender so the door does not rub on it.
