Blisters on doors

I know this sound strange but I have two blisters ,one on each side of the door and on the same place and more or less the same shape (ovalshaped).It looked as though the lacquer has melted leaving an uneven patch.The only conclusion I can make out is that the sun reflected on on the wing mirrors and onto the doors causing a heat spot and thus distorted the paintwork.Has anyone has this problem?

The blistering (to which our cars are prone) normally (but not always) starts on the more horizontal surfaces. For it to start on the doors is rare indeed.
Why there? Maybe it's a tell tale of repair work carried out in the past. But on both doors...seems unlikely doesn't it.
How long have you had the car?
What colour is it?
What age is it (there was a change of paint manufacturer during the cars production run)?

The car is a 1990 silver frost I bought a few weeks ago.The reason I thought the blisters were caused by the wing mirrors was because I saw the reflection of the mirror on the spot of the blister on a sunny day!

Hmm. . .that's probably not the culprit. The sun moves, and the mirror would have to track the sun and make sure the light landed at exactly the right spot. If this happened, your M100 is cursed by Lucas, Prince of Darkness, and you should abandon all hope unless you acquire the Talisman of Honda.
Seriously though, the blister might be caused by adhesives getting old and cantankerous. When they show, the adhesives generally show up as a line with soft edges. Can you take a pic and post?

Definitely not possible with the side mirrors. The passenger side is a flat mirror and the drive side mirror is a convex and in order to focus the rays and burn the paint the mirrors would have to be concave mirror.
