Dear All,
My M100 (S2) has been unbadged at the rear (by first owner I think) and I would like to put them back.
For that I need to find new rear badges (Lotus and Elan). Face to the prices I have seen recently, I would like to try to make them by myself (3D Printing).
That's why I'm looking for a precize description of those badges (Size, depth,...) to make a 3D model. I don't know if this kind of description exists (I didn't find it in the Lotus Books) but if an owner of an M100 could provide me good pictures and the differents size I could manage it by myself.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Best regards,
RV

Just FYI and confirmation, the Lotus and Elan badges are available from sjsportscars.co.uk, but at a price.
The S2 was I think a transfer. Not available there, but maybe elsewhere. Alternatively Internet download, printing on sticky vinyl may solve that issue.
Good luck.

Dear Both,
Thanks a lot for your replies
But I'm still convinced that I could work better with exact sizes to produce a kind of replicas.
I just have to wait to cross soon an other Elan
Best Regards,
RV

Just taken a couple of pics, took them from a distance to minimise distortion, but there might still be some.
Oddly the L-O-T-U-S letters are not all the same height.
lotus.jpg
Width of LOTUS = 143mm.
Letter height L = 24.25mm O = 25mm T = 24mm U = 25mm S = 25.5mm
ElanS2.jpg
Width of ELAN = 119mm
Letter height 24.0mm

I've got a high res scan of the S2 logo from an S2 certificate if you want it.

I wonder if you could specify whether you got the green/silver or the yellow/silver sticker when purchased new. Or do certain colours have the yellow sticker and other ones have the green version ? After all, the yellow one would be useless on an NMY and a green one would be useless on a BRG
One for you M100 anoraks

Really Thanks a lot to KenS and GeofSmith,
That's exactly what I was looking for
Good pictures and exact dimensions.
And if you can sand me the S2 pic with the high quality...
Best Regards,

There's a company which produces repro badges called "I Say Ding Dong" (I kid you not!).

I have a set of them ready for a rainy day, and they're a fraction of the cost of the usual suspects:

I had a set made in silver vinyl because I got fed up with dirt and crap collecting in the badges, and being impossible to clean properly.
They are the same size and font as the original badges, and made by a Lotus guy in The Netherlands.

I don't know how I 've missed this site "ding dong" !
I've ordered the Lotus and the Elan... I will see how they are
For the S2 sticker : My M100 is black, I think the yellow could be better fitted..?
Again, thanks a lot for your great help, I really appreciate

What colour combination do you think would look nice ?
Take the hi res scan and switch it up . would make your car unique ... silver and a sky blue might look interesting .

Just purchased badges from sjssportscars. cost for Lotus, Elan and SE was £95.50, plus p&p and VAT! wouldn't mind if made out of actual gold or silver ~sob~
While I'm waiting for them to arrive. Does anyone have the location measurements to place them on the back of the boot lid? My 5 day old car never came with any so not sure where to locate exactly.

I got fed up with mine collecting either white polish residue (very rarely!) or green moss/dirt (more frequently!) so when the car was resprayed, I simply got vinyl 'stickers' the same size and font.
