Should have completed what I was writing... doh!

The patch goes on the inside for a small tear. Tried to get the ironing board in the car without success so resorted to pressing hard against a small piece of wood, which I left wedged inside until the patch had cooled. Much less messy than glue!

Timmay,<br>guess I don't know if it is OE or not (never checked anyone elses here) but mine has what I would term a section of adhesive velcro loop-side tape placed/stuck onto the frame in this area for a buffer/protection<br><br>simple and effective,<br><br>

is it possible to collect some pics of this, when you are near to it next time?

I can´t imagine how it will stay all the time on the construction, cause it has only a small contact area where the tape of the velcro should lasts....

But it sounds simple and effective. So if you would be so kind...
