What color is this? Is this a genuine Lotus color?

Since it's an S2, I'm assuming Dupoint paint. There are at least 5 metallic greens listed in the Lotus paint code list I have
B14 Metallic Green Dupont ABH8395 H8395 A082B6314F
B16 Empire Green (Omega) Dupont ABW9320 W9320 A082B6299F
B18 Medina Green Dupont N9888 F2254 A082B6301F (definitely not this)
B21 Lotus Racing Green Metallic Dupont L9051 F2256 A082B6304F
B27 Electric Green Dupont F1613 M1800 A082B6340F
B29 Racing Green Dupont F1415 M1658 A082B6342F
B31 Pacific Green Dupont F1037 M1660 A082B6344F
B37 Anniversary Green Dupont F1357 M0043 A082B6381F
B39 Scandal Green Dupont F1377 M1880
B41 Metallic Green Dupont AB46700 K6 F2257
B67 Epsom Green Metallic Dupont F1001 M1667
B75 Motorsport Green M1362
B77 Envy Green Metallic LY6K F2138 A082B6401F
But other than ruling out Medina green and racing green (BRG), it's hard to say. It looks somewhat like the Anniversary Green I've seen on a local Esprit, but it's too dark to be that color. I tried looking on the wiki but it won't load for me tonight.
but I can't say for sure which this is.

Definitely looks good. Where did you see the car - just in a picture or did you see it personally? According to the
Wiki, there aren't too many options. We know BRG. We know medina green. It's definitely darker than the Lotus Racing Green Metallic on the anniversary edition cars. The only one not accounted for is "Empire Green"
Here's a discussion of Empire Green on a
Tesla web site and a photo from that site.

Could this be your mystery colour?

We're never going to know from a photo'. But if it looks black unless you're standing next to it then I'd reckon on the Empire green of the Lotus Carltons...

Not quite Empire

....it was called Imperial Green. Most people thought black, then they saw it was green although in bright sunlight it could even appear dark blue. Marvellous colour, but hopelessly soft paint - would scratch if you breathed on it too heavily.

Oh...and edited to say that I've read that it was an ICI paint code E355

I can confirm E355 is the paint code for an LC as that is what it says under the bonnet of mine & ICI list the colour as Empire Green, even though Lotus/Vauxhall call the colour Imperial Green

The car is now owned by former 1994 Team Lotus F1 driver Philippe Adams.
S2, Nr 776 (if I remember correctly).
Had a chat with him yesterday, at Lotus Cup Europe races in Zandvoort (NL).
He was also present at the Ypres Lotus Tour (B), 10 days ago.

Is this the one that WillB had for sale a month or two back? It looks absolutely stunning - I love it.

Don't know what it's called but Dave told me it's the Lotus Carlton/Omega paint. Looks black till the sun shines and then it's a very nice dark green. Was sunny at Brands last year...
