Hood Stowage Lid Strikers - A100B0941F

Anybody got a spare pair of strikers? - those bent bits of thick wire on the lid that clip into the 'sticky up' latch. Took mine off when the lid was being sprayed and now it's back I can't find them ..

Be great if you have Peter. I took them off so the sprayshop didn't lose them but it took them 2 weeks longer than they said during which time I've misplaced them.
Soon as I've got some more I bet mine come out of hiding. You can have them back when they do. At the moment boot laces is doing the job but it's not very elegant.

Now I'm really getting pissed off with Lotus. Why the 'king hell are there two types of striker ??

All the Parts Manuals I've downloaded for early, late and S2 show this design of item 162 on Drawing 10.12 so I thought that's what I needed ...

and that is exactly what Peter brought over from Belgium for me but it has a single bolt fixing and now I find the Service Manual in BK 12 refers to a two bolt fixing...

Seems that the early '91 SE and late '93 SE and the additional hood stowage lid I've got all have captive tapping plates for two bolts fixing strikers ....
